Effective 1 July 2026. TropicBay Properties is a US-based short-term-rental management company. This page describes the personal data we collect when you interact with the website, our why, and your rights over that information.
What we collect
We collect information you give us directly on the TropicBay site — name, email, optional phone, your message, and any operational details you choose to share when you submit a contact form, an investor lead, or a reservation request. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request path) to keep the site fast and to spot abuse.
How we use it
We use contact-form submissions to respond to your inquiry. We use investor-lead submissions to follow up about capital partnerships, share our investor deck, and walk through available opportunities. We use reservation requests to confirm bookings on a specific villa. Server logs are used for traffic and abuse analysis only.
How long we keep it
Contact and inquiry submissions are kept in our internal inbox for as long as we are actively in conversation with you, and archived when the conversation closes. Reservation records are kept for at least the duration of your stay plus the period required by applicable tax and accounting regulations. Investor records are kept for the term of the LP relationship plus the statutory retention period.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to confirm what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Send the request to the address below and we will respond within one business day.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to this policy, we update the effective date at the top of the page and, when the change is significant, notify active contacts by email.
